Can't find a Wii in stock anywhere? Shoppers everywhere are facing stores out of stock when they come in responding to published ads for the Nintendo Wii. Wired has an article explaining the shortage, basically stating due to a combination of factors Nintendo simply cannot keep up with worldwide demand for the game system even though they manufacture 1.8 million every month. Due to unprecedented universal appeal, not to mention eBay and Amazon sellers buying up units for selling on the secondary market, demand simply exceeds supply at this time.
