Spock, a new search engine for finding people, mixes search with social-networking tools like personal profiles and tagging. But you don't have to join to have a profile on Spock. In fact, you may be shocked to see what your profile already says about you. For example, some people are being inaccurately pegged as pedophiles.
Spock tries to correlate information about a particular person by using Google and social networking sites. But it is clearly far from perfect, as this article from Wired shows. I expect there may be lawsuits arising over this...
